Some growing differences in the Doomsday-verse

For those who might know, the Doomsday-verse AU wasn't meant to be a direct, 100% faithful adaptation of the 1983: Doomsday source material. Due to the Wiki-style nature of said source material and the differences present (tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php…), a better way to put it would be to call the AU a "Broad Strokes" version.

And a more recent example seems to be the source material page for Partium (althistory.wikia.com/index.php…). Apparently, new edits on the page from August 2012 included references to a recently added "Second Yugoslav War" (althistory.wikia.com/wiki/Seco…) that had the Survivor-Nation dragged in by Transylvania into a war with Serbia...which ended up with Partium getting surprisingly larger (images.wikia.com/althistory/im…) than when it was when the Doomsday-verse more or less started off (images.wikia.com/althistory/im…).

Aside from the implication that Serbia was effectively killed off in the source material as well, it did come as a bit of a surprise. Then again, since it's a Wiki, that was bound to happen. So what am I getting at with all this? Long story short, you could consider the Doomsday-verse a broad strokes if not an "alternate" version of 1983: Doomsday.

Hope that clarifies a few things.

EDIT/EXTENSION: In light of what was just mentioned above, is anyone also interested in seeing an interaction between the Doomsday-verse and an AU that follows 1983: Doomsday exactly?

Please feel free to chime in your thoughts!
